In fact, the DI workflow is now increasingly being adopted across all areas of post production, both film and video - long form and short form. This is because the benefits of the DI workflow, working at original resolution throughout the post production process and grading in-context as the job demands rather than up front from a telecine, have now become economically viable thanks to recent leaps forward in DI technology.
